MassageWhen it comes to massage, our therapists at Element Natural Healing Arts rank among the best of the best. Nestled in the heart of Carroll Gardens, our little gem shines above the rest because we tailor our sessions to each and every individual. Client education is one of our top priorities in guiding people to better health and wellness. It is important that all of our clients fully understand the value of what they are getting.

We consider it part of our job to educate each person about the specific benefits of the work we offer in several ways.

1. Working with the client, the therapists set clear goals for each session, whether it is a massage for a specific condition or just for relaxation.
2. Our therapists do their best to inform the client of potential physical changes that may happen during massage, such as decreased pain levels and better range of motion.
3. We include basic anatomy information to help clients better understand areas and muscles of focus as well as connections between conditions (such as why working on the hamstrings is important in alleviating lower back pain) and how these connections can benefit health, posture, and body awareness.
4. Typically, we also follow up via email regarding our clients’ experience at Element after the massage and provide an opportunity for questions and comments. For more complex conditions the therapist or other staff will call the client to check in.

Massage is for everyone! With massage, we can improve your health and wellbeing, helping to guide you to a better state of balance.
