โThen the Grinch thought of something he hadn’t before! What if Christmas, he thought, doesn’t come from a store? What if Christmas…perhaps…means a little bit more!โ
โ Dr. Seuss, How the Grinch Stole Christmas!
Christmas is almost here. It’s hard to believe how fast this year has come and gone. Let us take a moment to enjoy the present, enjoy the decorations, breathe in the chill of winter’s air, and feel all the love that has surrounded us this year.
As a child, I thought Christmas seemed to linger forever, but soon Christmas will be over and just another memory.
The holidays in NYC can be wonderfully delightful. Spending time with friends and family and taking part in the giving spirit can help guide us into the year to come. Let us be grateful for what we have and remember those who may be less fortunate. It’s the holiday spirt that can lift a soul, bring joy to a child, and comfort people. While the hustle and bustle can be stressful, we should not forget to celebrate the true spirit of the holidays. Remember the reason for the season.
May you find joy and peace in celebrating this most wonderful time of the year.
