Yin Tang is a commonly used acupuncture point located between the eyebrows. It is used to calm the mind, reduce anxiety and agitation, help insomnia, benefit the sinuses, relieve congestion, and alleviate headache pain.
This point can put people (and animals!) in a deep relaxation state and is a commonly used point for many treatment plans.
Self- administered acupressure to this point can provide some of the same benefits. Apply gentle pressure and massage in small circles with your middle or index finger. Add a little lavender oil to this point and relish some extra tranquility.
Including this simple technique in your daily relaxation routine will help with better health and increased calm and serenity.
