Tis the Season

Now that the calendar clearly, unequivocally, says DECEMBER, it is time to turn our attention to selecting gifts for friends and family. In addition to the Element Gift Guide for treats at our wellness center, here are some ideas from our insightful practitioners.

Browse these lists and enjoy the gifts of giving!

Greg, acupuncturist, likes to bestow gift certificates for massages or facials and healthy, herbalย Wish Garden tinctures or foot massage rollersย as stocking stuffers.

Jean,ย massage therapist/Thai bodywork practitioner, has ideas includingย cashmere hats, unicorn horn for animals, coasters, all natural soaps, cool socks, a flight to Hawaii, olive oil, wine, ornaments of unicorns, DIY kits, candles, art supplies, picture books, magazines, totes, and chocolates!

Sylvia, massage therapist, selects treats likeย caramels covered in dark chocolate and sprinkled with sea salt, and, of course, massage gift certificates.

Whereas Hal, massage therapist, likes to go with the clapper. “Clap on!! CLAP CLAP! Clap off! CLAP CLAP!” ย It actually works and controls two devices to make life a little easier.

Cara, massage therapist, loves to wrap up fun patterned socks!

Sarah, massage therapist, likes the idea of gifting memberships, including museum memberships!

Other practitioners favor warm gifts: silk long underwear or smartwool socks. Perhaps bring some nature home with flowering plants such as paper whites,ย amaryllis, or orchid plants, or even terrariums (or a gift certificate for a class to make them!).

There are endless possibilities this season, hope we’ve given you some ideas, including some very unique ones!
