Our Element team is incredibly accomplished, talented, and nurturing. This month, we meet Alyssa, one of the owners and visionaries behind Element Natural Healing Arts.
1. Tell us a little bit about your backgroundโฆ and how you came to do what you do at Element. What drew you to this kind of work and this kind of environment?
I have been living and working in New York City for the last seven years. After graduating from the College of Charleston in South Carolina with a degree in Business Administration and Marketing, my parents recruited me to help them open a destination spa in upstate New York. With the success and growth of the Spa at Traditions, I was ready to move on to more opportunities in NYC. I was so happy to find Element Natural Healing Arts and have since made it my second home.
2. What makes the work satisfying/fulfilling for you?
I love working with people. No matter what is going on in people’s life, they always leave Element with a little less weight on their shoulders and a smile on their faces.
3. If you could tell a prospective/new client one or two things that are crucial to know about Element, what would they be?
We are so lucky that we have the best team of practitioners/support staff and everyone is genuinely invested in our clients’/patients’ health.
4. What do you like do when youโre not at Element?
When I’m not at Element, you can find me exploring Brooklyn with my husband Karl and dog Stewie. Most early mornings, I start at the crossfit box. I also love a Netflix marathon every so often.
