Over the years Element has attracted some wonderfully talented therapists and staff. I want to give a shout-out to our Element team of mothers! Being a mom is not easy and managing a profession on top of caring for kids and a family requires dexterity and stamina. As the mother of two — aged 3 and 5 — I speak from experience and thank each and every one of these women for their hard work and dedication, both in- and outside the home.

Kelly, Laura, Chelsea, Rebecca, Armie, Kendra, Noriko, Nammi, Brogan, Yelena, Judy, Tatiana, Patricia, Corrina, JillEllyn, and Jess.

You all are amazing teachers, friends, foundations, anchors, rocks, and superheros! We are so proud to have you all a part of the Element team, a team that works together as a family taking care of the ones we love and the community we care so much about. We thank Carroll Gardens, the surrounding neighborhoods, and those who travel from afar for their support and encouragement.

Happy Mother’s Day to those who are mothers and to those who have raised children! With deep sorrow and sympathy, we think of those mothers who have lost their children and the children who have lost their mothers. Let’s nurture one another!

Sunshine

My Mother, my friend so dear
throughout my life youโ€™re always near.
A tender smile to guide my way
Youโ€™re the sunshine to light my day.
