We are delighted to announce a new addition to the Element Natural Healing Arts team: Elisabeth Jamison, a compassionate and insightful MindBody Grief Coach. Elisabeth offers a unique and meaningful service that we believe will deeply benefit many of our clients.

Grief is a profound and often isolating experience that can manifest from a variety of life events. It is not limited to the loss of a loved oneโ€”grief can arise after the loss of a job, a pet, or even in response to the state of the world. At Element Natural Healing Arts, we understand that emotions play a significant role in overall health. With Elisabethโ€™s guidance, we hope to provide a safe and nurturing space for those in need of grief support.

Elisabethโ€™s approach focuses on holding space for grief in all the ways it may surfaceโ€”whether as brain fog, physical pain, anxiety, or despairโ€”while gently fostering tools to move forward at the clientโ€™s own pace.

Here is a bit more about Elisabeth and her inspiring journey:

Elisabeth Jamison Bio:

Elisabeth Jamison is a MindBody Grief Coach who has worked for years as an award-winning filmmaker at top networks, crafting stories about the profound nature of grief and transformation. After the devastating loss of both her parents, those universal themes of loss and rebirth became deeply personal.

Their deaths shattered her world into unrecognizable pieces, leaving her stumbling through days that felt both endless and impossibly empty. It wasn’t pretty: She had panic attacks, lost copious amounts of hair, and developed debilitating back pain.

But slowly, breath by breath and bit by bit, grief became her most profound teacher, showing her that our deepest wounds can become portals to perfect health, wisdom, and joy. Now, as a MindBody grief coach, she brings the hard-earned wisdom of someone who has walked this path and come out the other side to guide others through their own loss journeys.

Here’s what she knows: Our society is grief-illiterate, which makes the experience of grief even more brutal. Grief doesn’t follow exact stages, and it definitely doesn’t fit anyone’s schedule. For those who feel lost or overwhelmed, like no one understands what they’re going through, and who can’t keep their heads above water, guess what? That is normal. They are NOT broken, and they are NOT crazyโ€”they are just grieving. And they don’t have to go through it alone.

Together with her clients, she creates a safe container for their griefโ€”in all the ways it may show up, including brain fog, physical pain, anxiety, fear, and despair. She honors their loss while finding a path to let some laughter and hope back in. It’s not about “moving on”โ€”it’s about moving forward in their way and on their timeline.

What is A MindBody Grief Coach?

As a MindBody Grief Coach, Elisabeth specializes in supporting people through both the emotional and physical manifestations of grief. Sometimes, grief shows up as depression, anxiety, and despair, and sometimes, it shows up as migraines and back pain. Often, it is a combination of all of the above.

In partnership with her clients, she holds space for whatever comes up and, when they are ready, gently introduces tools to help them befriend their pain.

If you or someone you know is seeking support on their journey through grief, Elisabeth Jamison is here to help.

We are truly honored to have Elisabeth join us and look forward to the healing and hope she will bring to our community.
